Clara is baking fresh rolls and muffins in preparation of a visit from the nieces. For the always organised sister, baking is a wonderfully fun pastime. "Baking requires very precise methods and measurements of ingredients," she smiles as she folds chocolate chips into the muffin batter. "It is like a science." To make sure her flour and powdery ingredients are not lumpy, Clara runs them through a sieve before mixing. "It ensures a smooth batter," she explains. The sisters' sieve is made of stainless steel with a beech handle and measures 18 cm.
